The Sciton HALO skin treatment is a revolution in resurfacing technology. This tunable, fractional laser treatment allows the clinician to target the superficial layers of the skin as well as the deeper tissues simultaneously.
The treatment of scar tissue is different to treating conditions such as sun spots, which occur on the surface layers of the skin.

The HALO laser skin treatment for scars utilises two separate lasers at the same time, targeting the surface and subsurface of the designated area. This hybrid fractional laser is extremely effective in the treatment and removal of acne and other forms of scar tissue.
The technology achieves this by stimulating the cells in the targeted area and triggering cellular remodelling in the damaged skin.
HALO has two lasers, each at different wavelengths – one laser targets the surface whilst the other penetrates into the deeper parts of the skin where it breaks up scar tissue – this can be referred to as deep level resurfacing.
